A gentleman some time ago sent me the following message.

"Absolutely the worst restaurant web site I have ever seen. The search just doesn't work, and you don't list California cuisine. Get a life!"

The message was duly signed. By the way, you should see what a fine piece of shit is HIS site. In any case, he was wrong about the search engine, which works fine, and I don't review Californian cuisine restaurants because in all honesty I don't think much of them (I have better things to do than waste my money again in places like Spago). In any case, my terse answer, fired off in anger, was the following.

"Fuck you, asshole.
Frank"

His reply was:
"I guess this explains why your site sucks". I have to admit he at least had the balls to answer.

While I still think anybody who bothers writing that sort of stuff (if I don't like a site, I go somewhere else) deserves three Britannicas worth of expletives, I am never again going to debase myself paying attention to this kind of people, hence my policy.
